About the Continuing Education Committee
The Continuing Education Committee bridges the gap between the state of the art and the state of the practice in structural engineering.  Its primary function is to present, through educational offerings, new ideas and information to SEAOCC members.  Committee members are responsible for choosing seminar topics, planning, preparing, and budgeting for the seminar.  The Continuing Education Committee is responsible for maintaining a liaison with other professional organizations and informing the Association of seminars that may be of interest. It also submits recommendations to the Board of Directors for long term plans to serve the continuing education needs of the membership.
